excited about producing one, well planned, litter a year. Foremost our
dogs are greatly loved family members who participate in all we do.
Our dogs spend the day free running, not kennel bound.

considerable success in the show ring with our foundation stud dog

Runner Up Best Exhibit in all breeds shows and our dogs consistently
win many Best in Group and Best in Show classes.

- Our aim is to
produce Airedale terriers of great quality with beautiful natures and
that great "Airedale spirit". We have successfully achieved this,
judging by the continual great feedback we get from our puppy buyers.

Keith Lovell
 |
- Kennel name:
Tjuringa
-
- Information about
the kennel: Keith and Patricia Lovell have had Airedale
Terriers since 1967 (40 years) and bred many great Champions whether
Australian Champion or Swedish, Norwegian, American, New Zealand,
International etc. They have also bred Champion Welsh Terriers,
Fox Terriers and Irish Terriers to a much lesser degree. In 2006 the
Lovell's dog, Ch Tjuringa Firecracker (Bang) was number one Airedale
and number five terrier nationally in very strong competition. In 2004
his father, American Champion Matrasen Zamindar owned then by Lovell
and Dozier was number one Airedale. He is now back in the UK with his
breeder but still in the names of the breeder, Lovell and Dozier.
-
- Keith Lovell is an
Airedale Terrier specialist judge having judged every Airedale Club in
the Southern Hemisphere. He actually judges over 100 breeds and in
2007 is the Group Leader in the Terrier Judges Training Program in his
home state of Victoria. Keith has judged in the USA many times
including Montgomery County Kennel Club show for the Airedale Terrier
Club of America. He has also judged Airedales in Sweden, Norway,
Denmark, Finland, Hungary and Romania. In 2007 he hopes to have
Airedales included in his assignment in South Africa. Although
having the number one Airedale in Australia, a male, the Tjuringa
Kennel is particularly proud of its bitches. Soundness, low hip
scores, great backsides, short backs and very nice heads in
particular.

We have enjoyed showing and have also handled five dogs to their

and all over the world. We have enjoyed the friendships we have made
through our lovely dogs and many owners are now on their second or
even third dogs from us. Our honorary Airedales are wire fox terriers
who are also very popular all over the world. We are now not able to
physically (age and health takes its toll) take our dogs into the ring
and are encouraging and helping our friend Lucia Miksadova with
grooming and handling tips. We are happy to help anyone who has

Righter's Airedales
- Area:
Tennessee
- Telephone:
423-240-1615
- Email:
rightersairedales@yahoo.com
-
- Information about
the kennel: There are people who just breed the
dogs for money. There are people like us, (along with many other
Airedale Breeders), who breed dogs because they really love the breed.
We want to let others see what an intelligent and outstanding
companion and friend they can be. We have had experience with the
breed for the past 30 years. This is a dog that we feel is a wonderful
breed for almost anyone to own, my opinion, the best dog to have.
Loyal companion, good hunting dog, great with children and a fearless
watchdog. Also known as the "King of Terriers". They are a
combination of good looks, sound temperaments, easily trained and the
ultimate clown. The Airedale is noted for their healthy even
disposition and energy. They are very smart but can be stubborn at
times. Because of their high intelligence level you need to spend a
little more attention focused on them (these are not dumb dogs). We
wouldn't have any other breed.
-
- We have both the dam
(Courtney) and sire (Max). These dogs are AKC registered. Max weighs
about 80 pounds and Courtney weighs 65 pounds. Ouachita bloodline.
We have an on site puppy pen and whelping area, so we do not keep our
dogs in a kennel. Our breeding program is family orientated so our
puppies are well socialized.

Kennel name:
Story Book Kennels at Once Upon A Time Farm
Area:
Virginia
Telephone:
540-219-6955
Email:
OnceUponATimeFarm@yahoo.com
Information about
the kennel: At Story Book Kennels, it's all
about the love of our Airedale Terriers and providing the best we
possibly can for them.
We delight in
introducing people to this breed and what exceptional dogs they are.
In my opinion, one could not ask for a better companion than an
Airedale Terrier. Eye-catching in looks, Airedales are intelligent,
loyal, loving and sometimes downright goofy; it is also a breed that
is extremely versatile and can do anything another breed can do from
obedience trials to hunting. "If it's not an Airedale, it's just a
dog".
From time to time we
do breed our adults and offer puppies for sale (Please note: we do not
breed our dogs more than once a year, nor are they bred every year).
Our parent Airedales have exceptional dispositions and personalities,
and represent the best in companion dogs. Our puppies are house raised
but introduced to a variety of sights and sounds so that they will be
well socialized. In addition, each puppy is given individual attention
addressing its unique personality and character.
Starting at an early
age, our puppies are lovingly handled and massaged so that they become
accustomed to the handling necessary in order to be groomed, have
their nails trimmed, and teeth brushed. There is also plenty of
playtime and size appropriate toys to help with their learning and
development, and just for the pure joy of being puppies. And while our
puppies go on to new families and new homes, at Story Book Kennels we
always consider them "our" puppies; we encourage owners to keep in
touch with us and share photographs of their puppies as they grow. At
Story Book Kennels we have Airedales first and foremost because we
absolutely love and adore them.
