Molly and Harry have interviewed Jackie Kabler, who was (at the time) starlet supreme of the UK's
top morning TV show, GMTV.
Molly:
Have you met any
Airedales before me? What do you think of Airedales?
Jackie: No, you
are my first Airedales. I think you are gorgeous. Except when you knock me
over in the mud. Slightly less gorgeous then.
Molly: Jackie,
you always look so glamorous, would you have any tips for a girl like me
on hair and beauty?
Jackie: Well
Molly, I frequently look like a dog due to the lack of sleep I get in my
job for GMTV, so maybe I should be asking you for tips!
Molly:
Being a health conscious
Airedale I like to keep fit with lots of walks and wrestling with Harry,
Jackie what do you to keep trim?
Jackie: I go to
the gym three or four times a week. Wrestling with Harry sounds more fun
though!
Molly:
What your idea of a quiet
night in?
Jackie: Oooh!
Don’t get many of those! My ideal is curled up on the sofa with a vindaloo
curry, bottle of champagne, and Friends on the telly. Fancy joining me? I
know you’re not allowed on the sofa at home but maybe we could make an
exception if you came round to my house!
Molly: I
love to relax with a chilled bottle of bubbly, what's you favourite
tipple?
Jackie: Same
here! Nothing like a cold glass or ten of bubbly after a long day…..see,
you should definitely come to visit!
Molly: I
love to shop and buy the latest collars and canine accessories, what do
you enjoy shopping for?
Jackie: I’m
rather fond of the human version of collars actually – preferably with
diamonds involved. But my big weakness is something you sadly will have no
use for – shoes. I have converted an entire spare bedroom into a walk-in
wardrobe with special little cubby holes for all my shoes. Hey – maybe I
could make my fortune by starting an Airedale shoe label! Would you buy
them if I did??
Molly: I
sure would! Harry and I like to travel topless in our SAAB
convertible, we get loads of attention from people and other less
fortunate canines, what do you drive and do you get lots of attention?
Jackie: Well I drive a black convertible BMW….don’t know
about driving topless though….might get arrested……
Harry: What is
your star sign Jackie? I'm a
Libran,
do you think we're compatible?
Jackie: I am
Taurus. Not sure if astrologers would say we are compatible, but I think
we’d get along just fine – well, most of the time anyway. Is it a Libran
trait to enjoy knocking people over??
Harry:
What do
you look for in a bloke?
Jackie: I like my men tall,
intelligent, slim and funny.
And rich of course.
Harry: I
love to curl up on the sofa with a glass of bubbly. I love the feel of
skin against my fur - would you like to snuggle up with me?
Jackie: I’d
love to Harry! We’d have to do it when Richard and Linda weren’t watching
though….as far as I know you’re not allowed on the sofa are you? Bad
boy…..
Harry: Would you
like to show me your shoe collection some time?
err......Perhaps
model a few pairs for me...me only?
Jackie: Harry, you old dog!
Only if you promise not
to chew them.
Harry:
When do
you fancy doing some wrestling?
Jackie: Any
time Harry. You only have to ask.
